I ordered this because it was dvi-d but they gave me a dvi-i (does not fit in my computer screen) i hope they give me the right one. i need to contact them.

Used to successfully hook my Xbox video output (HDMI output) to a Dell monitor (DVI-D input). Works a treat. Used an opened-up Xbox component lead to get sound out too (connected sound vga cables to a headphone jack (needs seperate vga female to 3.5mm male jack connector) and then into speakers).

Plugs into my laptop then an HDMI cable connects from there to my TV.

This is a great piece of kit which allows me to hook my PS3 up to my PC monitor. it is strong, effective and well packaged and i would definitely recommend it. But be warned if you are buying one of these for the same reason as me you must have speakers in your PC monitor or have optical ones to put in your PS3
