Product Description
Kingston 4GB Secure Digital High Capacity Memory Card - Class 4Starting at 4 GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingston's SDHC cards use new speed class ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices. Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.). For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.

Excellent price bought one for each of the childrens cameras without costing me a fortune, seem to work ok but we've not done much with them

4 out of 5 stars A must have   September 2, 2010

Never run out of space for pictures again! The quality is great and using video with this card is also superb. The card holds so much that it would be difficult to use all of it in 1 go! Using it over and over again makes no difference to the quality either. Having used Kingston products before and never been dissapointed, they have lived up to my expectation again.

5 out of 5 stars Great card   September 1, 2010

I got this as an upgrade from a 2GB scan disk. It was cheaper than the Scan disk equivalent and has all the features you will need. This is more space than I could use across 2 days of carnival, plus videos. I am quite proud of this buy.

5 out of 5 stars 16Gb at a reasonable price   August 27, 2010

I don't really understand why the various memory products on Amazon have so many different prices. I mean, of the 16Gb Class 4 SD card choices this was the cheapest at the time and I've heard of Kingston products and have no reason to think that paying more would provide a more reliable product... So I bought this one. It works, of course, no better or worse than any of the other comparable products I could have paid more for. So why even bother to try to sell them for more? I'm not going to look at all the choices and think 'Well, this one is cheaper, but I think I'll choose that other one as it's the same spec but costs more'... Anyway, well done to this supplier for undercutting the competition.

The only thing with this product I was disappointed about was the fact that it has not enabled my stills camera to make longer movies in movie mode, although I can of course make more of them. I guess there is a maximum file size. However, this is not the fault of the card and probably not the camera, but just a limitation of the filing system, so I can't really complain about that. I guess the solution would be to buy a proper video camera.

With this card installed in my 12MP camera, it now boasts an impressive capacity of 2547 full resolution still pictures... Erm, that SHOULD be enough.

5 out of 5 stars Great quality SD card   August 23, 2010
RBV (Perrin) (Kent, England)

I bought this card to replace my 4GB SD card on my Panasonic Lumix FX-38 camera. Transfer speed is fast and copes really well even on HD video recording. With the increased capacity, I don't have to worry anymore about running out of memory space for pictures. Transferring pictures to my iMac is also a breeze as it is instantly recognized. I haven't encountered any problem yet with this product. Definitely recommended!
