I received these very quickly after ordeing them and they were excellent discs I would buy from this seller again, in fact I may order two lots next time just to keep me going as I am converting a lot of my cassette tapes and vinyl to CD excellent!
PERFECT CHOICE FOR THE MARANTZ CDR-630 May 14, 2009 A. Mouatt (Toronto, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
FANTASTIC NEWS FOR ALL MARANTZ CDR-630 OWNERS!!!
At long last I have discovered a recently produced CD-R that is accepted by the Marantz CDR-630 Professional CD Recorder.
Please Note: Having entered the CD, it may be necessary to toggle the 'Input Select' button for the Marantz to recognise the disk. Howeveer... these CD-Rs actually work, that's the amazing thing.
Made By Ritek Oh Dear :( December 4, 2008 Gortonandy (Manchester UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I have been using these with the Sony RCDW100 writer - possibly the only model still available in the UK that uses these type of Audio only CDRs.
I have been testing the results with Nero DiscSpeed which tells you what errors are present and they perform very well on the whole, with no C2 errors (essential) and reasonably low C1 (correctable) errors.
The only caveat is that they are occasionally rejected by my recorder often halfway through recording at standard speed thus ruining the recording. It seems they are made by Ritek (according to the DiscSpeed program) and I have found over the years that Ritek produce a high level of dud discs (subjectively about 15%) which is why I have now switched to Verbatim and reduced my coaster count to virtually zero.
Good but try elsewhere October 24, 2008 H. J. Cheesman (U.K.) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
These are great and I have never had a faulty one but if there is a Wilkinsons in your area they are much cheaper there! Sorry Amazon.
