 Great sound - but only for a while. September 1, 2010

I bought these headphones in April 2009. They were great although the comfort in the ear took some getting used to. The cord for me was harder and got into less frustrating tangles than others I had. Sound was excellent and blocked out sounds from around.
However, in the past few months the sound in the right ear has degraded to the point where I now have to purchase a new pair because its too irritating and distracting.
I have read many other reviews on here and am writing this warn others. I do expect earphones even if they are cheap to last longer than this and my next purchase wont be one of these.

These are my second set of Sennheiser Eco Ear Canal Headphones. That's not due to durability issues, but because I've used them so much! The new ones are a bit nicer. They have a very compact 3.5mm stereo jack, which is good for using on portable MP3 players. They have good sound considering their small size and low price.

These headphones are definitely the best I've ever had. The sound quality is superb, the design is top notch. The packaging seems slightly excessive, but it's all cardboard, so it's easy to get rid of. The only fault I can see is that the cable for the left earphone is much shorter than the cable for the right earphone, but it dosen't impact the listening experience at all. All in all, these are truly worth getting.

After my i.pod headphones were broken I started to look for a replacement. Having looked through most of the headphones which were reasonably priced I decided to go for these because they had good reviews. I have just tested them out and you can tell the difference in quality straight away. They sound so much better than the i.pod headphones. I have never used noise isolating headphones and I am very surprised with the quality. If you want a good set of headphones for a good price get these.

Earphones arrived promptly, only problem was that postman left them by the dustbin and they disappeared! Amazon immediatly sent out a replacement.
The sound with these phones is very full and clear, and after experimenting to find the right grommets (there is a choice of 3) external sound is much reduced. Obviously you would not want to wear them while driving or waiting for a distress call should you be in search and rescue! The tangle-free connection cords are a big bonus.
