brought this for my sony mp3 walkman, what exscellent sound form such a small peice of kit, would highly reccomend it to anyone.
i used it while camping, sound within 2-3 metres of camp was excellent, and 4-5metres away couldnt hear it, just what you need!
if you really turn up the volume it does travel, but if you want excellent sound, great battery life from something compact and tuff, this is what you need.

Good value. Very compact. Sound good but distorts if you ramp it up too high. The audio lead is very short but it stows away in groove underneath. Last for ages before charging (10 hours+).I find it hard to find the volume control and power switch as they are small, under the curve of the casing and black on black (especially in low light). A very good buy though. My wife suggested we buy several and hand them out as birthday presents. Archie

I don't know if its the fault of the speaker or my little Philips go gear MP3 player, but the volume is not as good as I would have liked. The user manual is a waste of space. I have to get a readable copy from the X-mini website. I should think the font size is either 1 or 2.

Great speaker, very happy with my purchase. Bought it to enhance the terrible speakers in my netbook. Battery life is excellent, sound quality great (for the size). Probably not for extended music listening, but definitely a great choice for talk and video.
