After reading reviews I decided to but this for my blackberry thinking it was going to be a bit big so the clip on case I bought for my blackberry would make it slightly larger and hold it in perfectly. However, I don't seem to have the same troubles as everyone else. The case fits like a dream. I can turn it upside down and shake and my phone stays in place perfectly. It's a bit tight now I've applied a clip on case to my phone but it still works well and is nice and thick to give my phone lots of protection. I imagine it'll loosen up with the case after a bit.
The magnet mechanism works wonders and it looks really smart. There is protrusion out the top of the case like everyone else has mentioned but overall my phone is protected and saves energy. For the price and free shipping it's so worth buying.

For this price you really can not complain too much about this case which is of perfectly reasonable quality. Mine fitted my Curve 8520 perfectly and the built in magnet that enables "holster mode" is great. This allows different call profiles to be activated automatically depending on whether the phone is in or out of the case (louder tones in the case, vibration on/off etc), the key pad is locked and unlocked automatically when the phone is put in or removed from the case, and the screen switches off automatically in the case to save battery.
As some reviewers have pointed out the phone can fall out, but this is only a pocket case and given the open ended design it's not particularly surprising. I personally have not found this to be a problem.
Finally, the flaw. As many people have mentioned, the case hides the message notification LED on the front of the phone. You will notice the design of the case incorporates a notch in the top edge which would allow you to see the LED perfectly if only it were on the other side of the case which seems a little strange. It is my strong suspicion that this notch was in fact designed to allow you to see the LED and the reason this case is so cheap is because a mistake was made in manufacturing and the notch was made on the wrong side.
It's a small problem and otherwise the case is great, and at this price if the LED thing doesn't bother you it's a good bargain.

Nice fit, leather not showing any signs of wear (after week of being stuffed in work bag).
Saw other feedback that indicates BB slips out if turned upside down - true, but then you'd expect that. Product developers may want to look at a safety clip, but then you'd not be able to get the BB out when you get a call...
Item needs a reverse picture inch wide, double leather thickness strip down back (presumably containing magnet that turns BB off when 'docked'). Again product improvement would be to make this into a belt clip...but expect there's a dearer pouch that has this too!
Overall, very good value for money for something that will protect the screen - that's all I wanted and that's what I got.
