TOSHIBA NB200 -13L 10.1 NOTEBOOK March 8, 2010 Barry L. Welsh (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This notebook arrived on time and since Feb. 2010 has behaved exactly according to spec. While the elegant and slimline design is slightly compromised by the additional space taken up by the extended life battery it still manages to fit into the Belkin carrier case recommended. The extra life provided by the lithium battery is well worth having and seems to be about 9 hrs depending on use and illuminance of screen. This computer worked straight away using the internet and wireless connection, although I had to remove the existing optional anti-virus protection in favour of a different one which I preferred. Windows XP behaves as normal with no funnies. Might be worth increasing the memory size if speed is a major issue, although the speed as supplied was plenty for most normal internet operations(including moving images from news broadcasts etc.)Additional purchase of Logitech wireless mouse M305 was useful as it has a very small USB plug-in receiver which can be left in permanently. Mouse itself has separate on/off switch to conserve battery. Also a good idea to buy a low-cost CD/DVD READER-WRITER for any disc-based operations.

Brilliant Netbook March 5, 2010 Mr. Jack Hood (UK) this is just a great piece of kit, i have tested quite a few newtbooks in store before ordering this online. it is far beyond what i thought it would be, the keyboard and trackpad are just as good as on a full size laptop, the screen and build quality surpass any other that i have tested. just a brilliant product and i highly recommend it.
super little machine! does what it says on the tin! January 9, 2010 kitkat40 (UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful

Netbook Review January 5, 2010 Vj Raimondo (Malta) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
My first Netbook and my first electronics purchase from Amazon and what a pleasant surprise!! Ordered on Boxing Day it got to Malta four days later (lightning fast for us)and p&p was very reasonable. It worked straight away and so did the wireless connection. THe display is clear and the sound though low, audible on full volume in a quiet room. The Touch pad is a fair size though it takes some getting used to if you have only used a mouse
